PRR, the web-based residency logging system, continues to evolve since it's inception in 2001. The web-based system has over 1,000 residents logging annually.
Founded in 1975, the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery (ABFAS) is the organization responsible for board certification of podiatric foot and ankle surgeons in the United States. ABFAS is the only organization recognized by the Council on Podiatric Medical Education to perform this function for the specialty area of podiatric surgery.
Founded in 1975 as the American Board of Podiatric Orthopedics (ABPO) and reincorporated in 1992 as the American Board of Podiatric Orthopedics and Primary Podiatric Medicine (ABPOPPM), ABPOPPM offers a comprehensive board qualification and certification process in podiatric medicine and orthopedics.
Established in 1918, the Council on Podiatric Medical Education (CPME) is an autonomous accrediting agency for podiatric medical education. Deriving its authority from the House of Delegates of the American Podiatric Medical Association, the Council is empowered to develop and adopt standards and policies as necessary for the implementation of all aspects of its accreditation, approval, and recognition purview.
